About the course

BA in Economics is a multidisciplinary undergraduate degree program that teaches students about economic theories, statistical methods, and policy analysis. It can prepare students for a variety of careers in finance, business, and other sectors. Scope:- After completing a Bachelor of Arts in economics,there are numerous career path and higher education opportunities available. Here are some potential scopes : Pursuing careers in various fields :- Financial analyst, Data analyst,Actuary Management Consultant, Economist in Govt. Agencies, Investment banker Higher Education opportunities :- Master in economics, MBA, Master in Public Policy. Competitive Exams :- Prepare for UPSC, HPAS,SSC & Banking etc.

Course Eligibility:-To be eligible for bachelor of Arts in economics program at MINERVA PG COLLEGE OF ARTS, SCIENCE AND COMMERCE you must meet the following requirements:

  • Pass 12th grade from a recognized board and university in India.
  • The minimum percentage required for general category students is typically 45-50%
  • The minimum percentage required reserved for categories ( SC/OBC/ST ) may be slightly lower ( around 40-45 % )
