Over the course of three academic years, this curriculum has been offered regularly for six semesters. The course structure is intended to teach the fundamentals of business management in the first year, followed by an upgrade to more advanced business and industry knowledge and practice in the second year. As a training and research project, final-year students study and prepare for market and industry experience.
The BBA course would aim to impart a holistic understanding of the principles and practices incognito to business, develop their analytical and critical thinking capabilities, instill in them skills of leadership and teamwork, enhance their skills of communication and interpersonal interactions, and provide them with practical exposure through internships and/or projects. Besides, the course aims to develop competencies for roles in management, finance, marketing, operations, and allow one to navigate through the complexities and multifarious interrelationship of the business.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION to Bachelor of Business Administration: Plus two examination under 10+2 system or examination equivalent there to of a Board/University established by law in India with 50% marks (with 45% marks in case of scheduled caste/ scheduled tribe).
Scope of BBA: With promising opportunities in quickly expanding industries like e-commerce, banking, and digital marketing, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree offers a wide range of career options in business sectors, including marketing, finance, human resources, operations management, and consulting. Graduates can pursue positions as marketing managers, financial advisors, business analysts, and HR managers.
DURATION OF COURSE: This is a three year course. The degree will be awarded when
a candidate clears all courses within the time period of the completion of degree.
SUBJECT COMBINATION: Financial Accounting, Principles of Management, Marketing Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Business Communication, Quantitative Techniques, Human Resource Management, Legal Aspects of Business, and Entrepreneurship Development are among the core subjects covered in a BBA program. Depending on the college offering the course, students may also be able to specialize in Finance, Marketing, or Human Resources.
