It is a great pleasure and honor to connect with you through the website of Minerva College of Education. I firmly believe that there is no greater force for advancing our nation’s prosperity and socio-economic development than education, and that the quality of education is inherently tied to the quality of its educators. Teachers in the 21st century have a unique role: they must foster students’ all-round development, instill core values, uphold inclusive and secular traditions, and encourage scientific thinking.
With this vision in mind, our teacher education program, initiated in 2008 with an intake of 100 seats in the two-year B.Ed. program, has quickly flourished. At MCE, our emphasis is on training future educators with the latest educational technologies and psychological tools, making the teaching-learning process engaging and impactful. Our esteemed faculty, known for their dedication to excellence, is instrumental in the success of this program. To stay current in educational best practices, we actively support our faculty’s participation in development programs, conferences, and workshops. We also prioritize continuous professional development for our student-teachers through group discussions, seminars, personality development workshops, and research-based activities—preparing them to navigate both professional and social challenges.
I am confident that Minerva College of Education will continue its journey of progress, achieving even greater milestones in the years to come.
I extend my best wishes to our dedicated staff and students, and encourage them to excel in all worthwhile endeavors.
Warm regards,
J.S. Patial
