Objectives of the Academic Council at Minerva
Coordinate Academic Activities: Manage and oversee all academic and course-based activities in the two-year teacher training program.
Curriculum Delivery: Ensure effective curriculum transaction and delivery to meet the needs of the pupil teachers.
Faculty Development: Enhance faculty knowledge and teaching methods in alignment with the syllabus and the evolving needs of students.
Student Awareness Programs: Organize seminars, workshops, and awareness programs to keep pupil teachers updated on core subjects.
Timetable Management: Develop and implement an efficient timetable for academic activities.
Promote ICT in Teaching: Integrate technology into the teaching and learning process to improve engagement and learning outcomes.
Value-Based Training: Focus on imparting essential values and skills for holistic teacher development.
Innovative Lesson Planning: Introduce pupil teachers to modern approaches to lesson planning and subject-specific pedagogies.
Teaching Internships: Organize teaching internships both in simulated classroom environments and real classroom settings to provide practical experience.
Pupil Teacher Responsibilities towards the Academic Council
To ensure a meaningful and productive learning experience, pupil teachers are expected to actively engage in various academic activities and fulfill specific obligations:
Active Participation: Pupil teachers must regularly engage in the teaching-learning process to ensure quality curriculum delivery.
Guest Lectures & Educational Talks: The Academic Council organizes guest lectures and talks by eminent scholars. Attendance is mandatory for pupil teachers to stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in education.
ICT Presentations: Each pupil teacher is required to deliver two ICT-based presentations per semester to develop their technological teaching skills.
Paper-Based Assignments: All assignments must be completed and submitted to the concerned teacher before the semester’s final exams.
Micro Teaching File: Pupil teachers must complete and submit their Micro Teaching file before the second-semester exams.
Simulated Teaching File: The simulated teaching file must be completed and submitted before the second-semester exams.
Internship File: A one-month internship file must be completed and submitted before the second-semester exams.
Macro Teaching File: The Macro Teaching file must be completed and submitted before the third-semester exams. Pupil teachers will not be allowed to sit for exams unless all assignments are completed.
School Visit Report: A report of school visits must be submitted within one week of the visit.

All the faculty members are requested to attend all the guest lectures, faculty development programs, workshops and educational talks so that we will enhance our knowledge and competence as per the need of recent trends in teacher education.
All the faculty member are directed to complete their assignments on given time for the better functioning of teaching learning process.
