Library:
Library is the soul of the institution and it acquires, processes, preserves and disseminates information to the user community with the motto of empowering knowledge. It has an extensive collection of books, reference materials for satisfying the academic and research needs of the students and faculty. The Library and Information Centre consists a Reference Section, Circulation Section, Periodical Section. The library has automated all its library activities to provide effective and wide range of academic resources such as books, journals, online databases. College has a rich library equipped with more than 13,500 books. The library is enriched regularly with latest editions of books, magazines, journals to enable students to get upto date information on varied topics.
Labs:
Minerva College of Education is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and enriching learning environment for aspiring educators. The institution recognizes the importance of practical experience in teacher training and has established a range of specialized labs to enhance the educational journey of its students. The Psychology Lab at Minerva College is designed to help students understand the psychological principles that influence learning and behavior. The Art and Craft Lab fosters creativity and innovation among future educators. This space is stocked with art supplies and materials, allowing students to explore various artistic techniques and crafts that can be integrated into their teaching practices. The Curriculum Lab, students engage with curriculum development processes. This lab offers resources for designing lesson plans, assessment tools, and instructional strategies. By working collaboratively, students can experiment with different curricular approaches, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet diverse educational needs. The Language Lab is another vital resource, focusing on the development of language skills. Here, students have access to technology and materials that facilitate language acquisition and teaching strategies, promoting effective communication in the classroom. Lastly, the ICT Lab (Information and Communication Technology) equips future educators with essential technological skills. Students are trained to use various educational software and tools that enhance learning experiences.
Hostel Facilities:
Separate Hostel facility for girls and boys is available in college campus. The hostel provides such an ambiance that the students get homely environment. The college provides proper housekeeping, telephone and other amenities as well. It has common room equipped with facilities like Television (with DTH facility), Indoor games like Carom Board, Chess, badminton etc. and a Gymnasium. Hostels are having 24 hrs. electric and water supply arrangement
Transport Facilities:
Transportation facility has been arranged for the faculty, students and other staff at reasonable rates. College is providing bus facility from the areas such as Pathankot, Mohtli, Dah-Kulara, Nangal Bhur, Kandrori, Nurpur, Jassur, Talwara, Rey, Badhukhar, and Indora.
Canteen:
Canteen is the place where students interact with each other and enjoy the food and snacks. MCE also provide canteen facility in the college campus. It serves fresh and healthy food. It has good sitting capacity for the students.
